The short version
- ClassroomSearch.com is free. You don’t need an account to use it.
- Use it for learning, and don’t try to break it, overload it, or get around its safety filters.
- We work hard to filter results, but no filter is perfect. If you see something that isn’t right for school, tell a trusted adult and let us know.
- The websites in your results belong to other people, and their own rules apply when you visit them.
- Our Privacy Policy explains what we keep and why.
Agreeing to these terms
These terms are the rules for using ClassroomSearch.com (classroomsearch.com). “We” and “us” mean the people who run ClassroomSearch.com. By using ClassroomSearch.com, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
If you’re under 18, please read these terms with a parent or guardian. If a school or teacher asked you to use ClassroomSearch.com, they may have their own rules too, and you should follow those as well.
Using ClassroomSearch.com
ClassroomSearch.com is free for students, teachers, and families to use for finding information and pictures for school and learning. You may:
- search as much as you need for schoolwork, projects, and curiosity
- set ClassroomSearch.com as the search engine on your own or your school’s computers
- link to ClassroomSearch.com and share searches with your class
Please don’t:
- try to break, overload, or slow down the site, or get around its limits, safety filters, or security
- use robots or scripts to run searches or to copy results
- search for things you know aren’t right for school, or try to trick the filters into showing them
- type private information (like a phone number or home address) into the search box
- copy ClassroomSearch.com’s design or code to run your own copy of the site, or resell its results
Search results and other websites
Results come from Brave Search and link to websites run by other people. We check searches and filter results to keep them suitable for school, but we can’t check every page or picture, and we can’t promise that every result is suitable, accurate, or up to date. Always check important facts with more than one source.
When you open a result, you leave ClassroomSearch.com. We don’t control those websites and aren’t responsible for what’s on them, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.
Pictures and pages in your results belong to the people who made them. If you use a picture or page in schoolwork, give credit to where it came from. The Cite button and the image preview can help you write a citation.
Who owns what
ClassroomSearch.com’s design, logo, mascot, and code belong to us. These terms let you use the site as described above, but they don’t give you ownership of it.
If you think something shown on ClassroomSearch.com uses your work without permission, email us at the address below and tell us what it is and where it appears. We’ll look into it and take it down if we should.
If something goes wrong
We offer ClassroomSearch.com for free and “as is.” We work to keep it running, correct, and safe, but we can’t promise that it will always be available, free of mistakes, or free of problems.
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using ClassroomSearch.com, from websites you reach through it, or from not being able to use it. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Ending or changing things
You can stop using ClassroomSearch.com at any time. We may change, pause, or stop any part of the site, and we may block anyone who breaks these terms or puts the site or other people at risk.
If we change these terms, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. If you keep using ClassroomSearch.com after a change, that means you accept the new terms.
